Transformer Guide

Over a number of years, KIWI Electronics have tested a wide range of transformers, both wire wound and electronic, to find the optimum method for dimming.

In ALL cases KIWI has found, if an electronic transformer manufacturer states their product is dimmable, trailing edge dimmers offer the guaranteed results. For wire wound transformers an inductive rated controller is required. KIWI Electronics strongly recommends following these guidelines when dimming any transformer.
